“Inspiration usually comes during work rather than before it.”

Madeleine L’Engle

Much of what I do is about the process.

Raising my own family, chores were never done.

There is always another sock to wash, another meal to prepare, another leaf to rake.

As an educator, helping students learn is an ongoing task.

Today, it is drawing a line. Tomorrow perhaps tone or texture.

For me, creating designs is much the same.

I am never quite sure where my final piece will end.

I just begin by putting pencil to paper because that is

what I know how to do.

And that’s where every idea begins.

I am a designer and illustrator currently living and working in Delaware. I work with watercolor, gouache, acrylic, ink - actually almost anything I can use for mark making. I especially enjoy sharing my love of creating with others. I delight in teaching people to be present and appreciate whatever is in front of them.
